Side Projects - Launch Something

Reading a bit more blogging from Tom Crichtlow and found "The Importance of Launching", quotes below:

"Put something out into the world that is yours. That allows you to demonstrate what you’re capable of. Keep it weird. Keep it yours. And if you don’t, someone else will." and "You don’t need to be technical or devote a ton of time to it. Just find something you’re interested in and carve out a simple, tiny flag on a little patch of sand that says 'I made that'."

Heck yeah, this is something I've been moving towards. At this point I've launched a podcast, mainly as a way to explore my ideas about creativity and problem-solving, by talking to other creative folks. I've still got a couple ideas on web-based projects, and I know, living, breathing code running out in the world is a great way to show the world what you can do. (This post also probably belongs in Python and Web Programming.)
